LOCK DOWN IS THE ONLY VACCINE TO DECREASE CORONAVIRUS


                   Countries across the globe are taking unprecedented measures to prevent the Coronavirus spreading, ranging from the extreme to the relaxed to the creative. One study, found that the travel restrictions in Wuhan only slowed domestic spread of the virus by three to five days because there were already cases in other cities at the time of the lock down, on March 18, China reported no new local cases for the first time since the outbreak began, according to CNN International, China will lift the lock down in Wuhan on April 8.
Russia will have a paid stay at home holiday this week, on Monday, Moscow's residents were ordered to stay in their houses and will soon need passes for their movements, they can only leave to go to the grocery store or pharmacy, take out the trash or walk their pets within 100 meters of their home, residents will be monitored, at least 27 other regions in Russia have followed Moscow's lead.

President Cyril Ramaphosa said, While this measure will have a considerable impact on people's livelihoods, on the life of our society and on our economy, the human cost of delaying this action would be far greater.
In Argentina, citizens are only allowed to leave their homes for essential services while police monitor the streets, the lock down was set to end on March 31 but was extended to April 13, President Alberto Fernandez said "We will be absolutely inflexible in the enforcement, this is an exceptional measure in an exceptional time, within the framework of what democracy allows"
Colombia began a nationwide quarantine on march 24 and expected to last 19 days, with people over the age of 70 told to remain indoors until may, in some Colombian towns, people are allowed outside based on the last number of their national ID number, for example, people in Barrancabermeja with an ID number ending 0, 7 or 4 are allowed to leave the house on Monday, while those with an ID number ending 1, 8, or 5 can go outside on Tuesday. Nearby Bolivia is proposing a similar approach. One mass breakout attempt in a Colombian prison led to the deaths of 23 inmates, as prisoners held protests over crowding and health concerns.
Serbia's government introduced a dog walking hour from 8 to 9 PM for those in lock down.
Belorussian President Alexander Lukashenko has been raising plenty of eyebrows with his attitude towards the Coronavirus outbreak, he laughed off the suggestion that his country should try to stem the spread of Coronavirus, because he couldn't see the virus flying around. Unlike most of Europe, Belarus has not placed any restrictions on sports events, the president announced that there are no viruses here, ha has also cited drinking vodka and regular trips to the sauna as ways to ward off the virus, which is completely at odds with professional advice.
India went into full Coronavirus lock down for 21 days on March 24, the lock down will be largest stay at home order yet, with 1.3 Billion told to social distance "To save India and every Indian, there will be a total ban on venturing out of your homes" Indian Prime Minister Narendra Modi said.
Sweden has taken a relaxed attitude when it comes to lock down measures, despite close to 4,947 confirmed cases there, the government hopes people will behave sensibly and trusts them to do the right thing, gatherings of more than 50 people were banned on Sunday but schools for children under the age of 16 remain open, pubs and restaurants can still offer table service and many people are still socializing as normal, the strategy is dividing opinion both at home and abroad but only time will tell whether the Swedes' laid back approach will backfire.
The United Kingdom Prime Minister Boris Johnson said that citizens will only be allowed to leave their homes for essential work, exercise and purchasing food or medicine, they will only be allowed one form of outdoor exercise a day, gatherings of more than two people will be banned, as will most ceremonies other than funerals.
Australia's epicenter outbreak in New South Wales on Tuesday was locked down, anyone who leaves their house without a good reason faces fines or jail, on March 24, new restrictions for the whole country were imposed after a national cabinet meeting, according to the BBC, Prime Minister Scott Morrison said that he wanted to keep Australian schools open but parents could keep children at home if they wanted, he said "We are not putting in place lock downs that put people in and confine them to their homes, that's not a measure that has been contemplated at this point" he announced further restrictions on businesses and gatherings such limiting the size of weddings to five people and funerals to ten, the federal government said that it is safe for students to attend school through the rest of the term, but different states and territories are creating their own plans with a mix of distance learning and in person instruction.
Advice offered in Malaysia has proven to be no less controversial, the government was forced to apologize after its women's ministry posted cartoons online telling wives to dress up, wear makeup and avoid nagging their husbands during the country's partial lock down, social media users were quick to criticize the posters which were later taken down.
Turkmenistan, meanwhile has reportedly gone for a completely different approach to the dealing with the pandemic and banned the word Coronavirus, according to the independent news website, the Turkmenistan chronicle which is banned in Central Asian nation, the government has removed the word from its health information brochures but people that are talking about the virus or wearing masks in public could face arrest. The authorities say no cases of Coronavirus have been recorded in the country which borders one of the world's hardest hit nations which is Iran.
In Panama, the Central American country, which has had close to 1,000 confirmed cases has announced strict quarantine measures separating people by gender in an effort to stop the spread for the Coronavirus, men and women will be able to leave their homes for only two hours at a time and on different days, Security Minister Juan Pino said that this absolute quarantine is for nothing more than to save your life. Men will be able to go to the supermarket or the pharmacy on Tuesday, Thursday and Saturday, and women will be allowed to go out on Monday, Wednesday and Friday, no one will be allowed to go out on Sundays, the new measures will last for 15 days, according to Pino, more than 2,000 people were detained last week for not abiding by the quarantine.
New Zealand enacted a mandatory 14 days quarantine for all individuals entering the country, as the numbers of cases in the country rose by almost 50%, authorities went into a month long national lock down on Wednesday, it will be only partially eased after a month if case trends slow, according to the Prime Minister Jacinda Ardern who said " I say to all New Zealanders: the government will do all it can to protect you, now i'm asking you to do everything you can to protect all of us, Kiwis go home"
Saudi Arabia, the capital Riyad and the Islamic holy cities Mecca and Medina are under lock down, residents will not be allowed to enter or exit and are subject to curfew that's four hours longer, Saudi Arabia already suspended international flights and closed mosques, schools and restaurants it also imposed a curfew, the government also locked down the city of Djeddah after four more deaths due to Coronavirus.
French President Emmanuel Macron said that the 15 days lock down will prohibit any public gatherings and walks outdoors, he told French residents to take public transit only if absolutely necessary and to buy only essential groceries, he added that people who violate the lock down will be punished, Prime Minister Edouard Philippe said "We have seen too many people in cafes and restaurants, in usual times this would make me happy, because this is the France we all love but for a few weeks, this is not what we should be doing" On March 27, France extended its lock down past the original 15 days, according to Al Jazeera, the country will remain under lock down until April 15 in light of growing infection and death rates.
 In Morocco, After days of announcing new flight restrictions for certain countries, Morocco placed an all out suspension on international flights to and from its airports, as the country closed its borders, The Washington Post reports that thousands of international travelers have been stranded, the government has also arrested at least a dozen people for spreading false Coronavirus fake news.
The Spanish government ordered its 47 Million residents to stay in their homes for at least 15 days, though that period could be extended, the order allows people to leave their homes for work, the bank, medical appointments and to buy essentials.
In Italy, at least 105,792 people have been infected and 12,428 have died to date, Italian Prime Minister Giuseppe Conte described the quarantine policy as "I stay home" Large sporting events, schools and universities, museums, cultural centers, swimming pools and spas have been shut down throughout the country, while public transportation and airports are still operating, only essential travel is allowed and those who want ro travel for valid work or family related reasons need police permission, all stores except for grocery stores and pharmacies are closed.
