The Prime Minister Pedro Sanchez, said that the government wanted to prolong the lock down introduced on march 14, which prevent Spaniards from leaving their houses for all except essential trips until April 11, adding that he would ask the European Union for an investment programme along the lines of the Marshall Plan and aid package provided by the United States to the economies of Western Europe, the Government would do whatever was needed to combat the COVID-19 pandemic, the second worst outbreak in Europe has showed no sign of slowing and intensive care units are filling up in some hospitals.

The R0 is the reproductive number of a disease that indicates its contagion rate.
The Coronavirus has an R0 of 2.68 according to the scientific journal Lancet that is a relatively high rate "each infected person reaches 2.68 people"
Lethality of the disease: The percentage of deaths from COVID-19 disease ranges from 2% to 4% in China and around 1.7% outside the Asian country, according to the WHO, the highest percentage is in the highest age ranges. Data so far known reveals that Coronavirus is more contagious and probably more deadly than the flu.
