BECAUSE OF CORONA VIRUS

CORONA VIRUS IMPROVES HYGIENE AND HEALTH HABITS AMONG MOROCCANS:

Concerns about the transmission of the Corona Virus have caused a large group of Moroccan consumers to purchase sterilizers for cleaning hands and showers from shops, shopping malls and pharmacies, the high demand for these products contributed to the slight increase in prices in addition the disappearance of some of them temporarily, due to the lack of additional quantities destined for sale to the consumer in these stores. A group of Moroccan companies operating in the production of cleaning materials intended for personal use, have remedied the situation by raising the pace of production in response to the increasing demand for their products, The president of the Moroccan association of consumer rights, explained that the demand for the cleaning products made from alcohol and iodine, after the outbreak of Corona Virus in the world and the registration of a group of limited cases in Morocco, indicates the changing habits of Moroccan consumers. He added, we have recorded a growing interest in the Moroccan consumer in the cleanliness of his hands and surroundings significantly in recent days, which explains the large increase in demand for the acquisition of cleaning products for hands but this is healthy in general and should not be confined only during the spread of the Corona Virus in the world, in the same statement, the president of the Moroccan association of consumer rights noticed that, the use of sterilization products made from alcohol and iodine should be included in the daily habits of the Moroccan citizen for its great role in preventing the spread of internal diseases related to microbes, fungi and even mobile viral diseases, he considered that caring for the daily hygiene of cleaning hands, utensils and sterilizing them is the only way to protect a human from viral diseases and reduce their risk by a large percentage.

CORONA VIRUS REVIVES THE MEDICAL MASKS ECONOMICS AND RESTORES THE WHEEL OF FACTORIES:

The increasing of panic and fear from the spread of Corona Virus, after a number of infections and deaths recorded in the world because of it, caused a boom in sales of medical masks, specialized gloves, adhesive tapes and other protective equipment, the demand for MUZZLES or MEDICAL MASKS on the market has increased especially since many families are trying to provide them for their schooled children, in addition to the demand of workers in tourist companies which led to a significant increase in prices and at the same time the quantities offered decreased. According to an analytical study presented by the Future Center For Advanced Research And Studies, with the spread of Corona Virus, many pharmacy owners have resorted to storing those products, while some merchants collect the largest number of them for export, in addition the parallel "BLACK" market is formed for sale by some people in a way that does not take into account the specification to achieve huge financial profits, in front of this situation, there are lot of indications that medical masks economics has developed in the world as a whole including the middle east region and make international statements about the existence of a shortage in it, where the Director General Of The World Health Organisation Tedros Adhanom Ghebreyesus asked the world to stop storing masks, gloves and other protective equipment because we are concerned that the emerging Corona Virus  is hampering the supply of protective equipment, including the much needed respirators to protect health workers who are fighting the spread of the virus around the world, we are concerned also about the countries' capacity to respond will be jeopardized by the increasingly severe obstruction of the global supply of personal protective equipment, which is caused by increased demand, misuse and storage, to this is added, according to the study, the issuance of ministerial decisions determining the prices of medical masks which applies to what happened in KUWAIT, where the Minister of Trade and Industry, issued a ministerial decision determining the sale prices of medical masks based on a letter from the minister of health on the subject, between 100 Fils and 1.320 Kuwaiti Dinars for each.
Among the other indicators of these Economies the study adds the return of idle masks production factories whether governmental or private in a number of countries, after a period of stagnation in this commodity due to weak domestic demand, especially as it is in the Middle Eastern countries medical masks were often imported from China, Malaysia and Thailand, but after the Corona Virus spread demand began to increase for the local product and the stalled factories were run in addition to production lines. Expectations for the growth of the global market for "Medical Masks or Medical Respirators" were also issued, as the Kuwaiti newspaper "Al-Qabas" indicated on January 26th, quoting from "Decision" for data analysis that the global market for Medical Respirators would grow at a compound annual rate CAGR of 10% during the next 5 years and the global market value will reach 4.4 Billion Dollars in 2024 compared to 2.5 Billion Dollars in 2019. This matter raises according to the study, the issue of health efficiency because of the spread of the Corona Virus in some countries of the Middle East has led to an increase in the demand for Medical Masks, as the situation of ordinary citizens has become similar to that of doctors, who are not separated by these Masks, this raises questions about the efficiency of health systems to monitor and combat the spread of the Corona Virus especially in light of the shortage of tools and requirements for medical personal protection, the weak official control of traders in times of crisis which requires strengthening the role of civil society institutions concerned with consumer protection and the " Right of Medicine".
